Citi Handlowy and Citi Service Center Poland once more named Top Employers. The award is granted by the Corporate Research Foundation Institute to companies whose HR policy received the highest scores in the survey held. This year awards have been granted to 39 organizations in Poland.

'This year’s Top Employers certificate is given to us at the time of the rapid growth of the shared services centers sector in Eastern and Central Europe. Poland’s outsourcing market that’s already more than half a thousand entities employing nearly 160,000 people. Citi Service Center Poland is one of the leading sector players,’ said Terri Gerosa, Head of Citi Service Center Poland. ‘Our greatest asset is our employees, which I emphasized when I recently received the Best Business Centre Manager of the Year Award during the CEE Shared Services and Outsourcing Awards gala. The Top Employers certificate confirms that we care about our employees by offering them a comfortable work environment and broad development opportunities. ‘

Ms Beata Jaźwiec, Head of HR Division at Citi Handlowy, said when receiving the award: ‘This is already the sixth Top Employers award for Citi Handlowy and I’m very proud of this achievement. For me, it is a test that confirms the sense and value of changes implemented in the area of Human Resources Management. Over all those years, the Bank has been evolving as employer, however, the highest HR standards have always been of utmost importance to us. We have consistently emphasized the global nature of our business and the opportunities for professional development within the structures of Citi – which is confirmed, for example, by what we accomplished last year, when over 400 employees took part in international workshops.’

Top Employers certificates are awarded to organizations which meet the highest HRM (Human Resources Management) standards. Certificates are granted after an independent, facts-based assessment conducted by the CRF (Corporate Research Foundation) Institute – one of the leading institutions researching into HR policy in the world. The assessment is based on an extensive list of questions which HR managers are asked to answer and on an employment policy audit which covers the following criteria:

Citi Handlowy named third best commercial bank by Gazeta Bankowa

Citi Handlowy received the third prize in the Best Bank 2015 competition in the commercial banks category. The prize awarded by Gazeta Bankowa was presented at a gala ceremony which took place on June 17, 2015. As a part of the 23rd edition of the competition, awards were handed to banks which achieved the best financial results.

Citi Handlowy named Most Responsible Financial Institution

Citi Handlowy was ranked first in the ninth edition of the Ranking of Responsible Companies in the banking, insurance and financial sectors category. The Bank earned the highest score in four of the audited categories – responsible leadership, community involvement, communication with stakeholders, and social innovation and responsible management. The Ranking of Responsible Companies has been prepared for many years by the daily newspaper Gazeta Prawna, in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

The Kronenberg Foundation honoured for supporting entrepreneurship

Kronenberg Foundation won the “Faces of Entrepreneurship” competition organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Week Foundation. It came in first in the “Institution supporting entrepreneurship” category. It competed among 10 government institutions and NGOs supporting the development of entrepreneurship, innovativeness and broadening economic knowledge.

The “Faces of Entrepreneurship” competition was held as a part of the 7th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. It was a continuation of a social campaign started in July 2014 under the same title.

Kronenberg Foundation at Citi Handlowy, which was honoured in the competition, has been working to support entrepreneurship since 1996. It runs 5 projects related to this theme, reaching 22,000 people from different target groups every year. It’s actions include spreading knowledge on entrepreneurship, promoting microenterprises, creating new jobs and supporting both start-ups and companies expanding into foreign markets.

We are proud to announce that on the evening of February 6th, 2014, Citi Service Center Poland was selected as the Best Shared Services Firm of 2013 during the CEE Outsourcing and Shared Services Awards Gala in Warsaw.

Citi Service Center Poland was named the winner from a short list of the following nine centers: AVON Finance Service Centre, BNY Mellon, CBRE Corporate Outsourcing, HSBC, IBM GSDC Poland, MAN Accounting Centre and State Street.
